Right Versus Good
Transcript
In an office challenge, Bill was always the first to offer help . . . and the last to get taken up on his offer. You see, Bill knew how to solve problems only one way: HIS way.
Bill could be competent and concerned. But he was also obstinate and, at times, arrogant. A man or woman sure of every answer all too often has no patience for the questions.
This is Howard Butt, Jr., of Laity Lodge—and there’s a difference between being right and doing good. What does that look like? For Bill, who might already be right, it would do more good to listen to input and share the solution. How does RIGHT versus GOOD look for you . . . in the high calling of our daily work?
