“What Is Your Responsibility to the Greater Community?” - Dwaine Massey
It's a time of year when we all think about what we are given, and about giving back. We're lucky to live in a time where the creative possibilities for giving back are nearly limitless, from buying shoes to growing a mustache.
We'd love to hear from you. How you get involved with your communities? What's the most creative charity campaign you've ever heard of?
TRANSCRIPT: When we think about responsibilities to the broader community---to whom much is given, much is required. I think that's not only a nice saying from Scripture, but also the way I've tried to practice law. For that reason, in addition to the practice, which itself is and can be time consuming, I've tried to balance it with board service in charitable organizations.
So, I think it's important for us to be representatives of Christ, to be ambassadors wherever we find ourselves or whatever positions we find ourselves. And, the Lord's given me an opportunity to meet a lot of people, to do a lot of things, and I think as a result I have a responsibility to give back.
